Margot Groenfeldt, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who serves individuals, couples, and families. I have received certification in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy, which works with family systems to improve family functioning, couple and co-parent relationships, and family structure. My treatment approach is always trauma-informed and incorporates additional modalities to best meet individuals needs. I utilize CBT and DBT skills to help individuals change current thinking and behavioral patterns. 

 

I have experience working with individuals and families in crisis to find new ways of being and interacting with one another. My work with couples and parents aims to change patterns of interaction that no longer work while fostering connections and creating a new sense of belonging. I have experience working with individuals who present with a range of diagnosis and life stories, and view each individual as unique and deserving of an individualized approach to treatment. 

 

I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, and obtained my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
